CHAPTER: LOVE

Part I: How wonderful someone can feel being in love.

Today, I was talking to one of my good friend and we have had a very interesting conversation as follows:

“Have you heard MP3 songs?” she asked.
“Ofcourse!” I replied.
“How did you like it?” she enquired.

By now, I knew she was talking about MP3 movie songs.

“I liked WMV the better” I grinned.
“I am not talking about .mp3, .wmv or .txt” she said in annoyance.
“Oh! I see, are you asking about songs from the movie MP3?” I grinned.
“Come on, you must be joking. This movie songs are everywhere” she panached.
“I have heard them couple of times; they seems OK!”.
“I don’t know about the rest of it but I loved the title track Mera pehla pehla pyar hain…” she said blushing.

While she was enjoying listening to the song and humming the lines: “doston ki dosti – yaaron ki yaari kamm lagne lagi…”, I thought it would be a good question to ask her if everyone in love feels the same as that particular line says.

“Do you really think so? I mean people who are in love really think so?” I enquired.
“Think what?” she grinned.
“Do you really think, friends will have a comparatively less significant role in one’s life after one gets into the love relationship?” I asked in disgust. (No offence, by any means, to love or its supporters)
“I don’t know but ‘yes’ will be the answer with 9 out of 10” she replied in a very casual tone.

I felt quite not OK with this gesture of her may be because those special lines were not so special to me as those were to her and “THAT” may be because we were good friends. And I was not expecting her to say that on my face atleast. However, I respect and appreciate her true love. Right then, without saying anything to her I just marked couple of lines in my memory book

Fact: "LOVE exists"
Factless fact: "BELOVED is always a better buddy"
