TERE PYAR MEIN...

I dedicate this short verse to one of my friend. (J***)

Prologue
He meets a girl online, makes friendship and few days gone by they transpires to each other. He then starts giving calls to her and she responds in glee. Hitherto, he has been a meticulous employee of his team but now no longer. Completely awestruck by her gestures, talks, thoughts, looks, dreams, photo etc. he starts to feel for her but as she lived far-off to him, the story is not progressing to the next level even after regular chatting and frequent phone calls. With his ambiguous relations, he is in vague state of mind to reach her, therefore, procrastinates every time. All of a sudden in a rainy night, crackling sounds of thunders, and an emotional song at the background recuperates eternal love for her in him. He realizes his un-ease is growing dis-ease sort, so, decides to meet her in person. Deeming her to be his soul mate he starts for a long journey with just two lines of her postal address on the paper.

- This situation illuminated my lyricist in me and below is what I have to say if I were him!

मैं आ रहा तेरी पहचान जानकर ख्वाहिशों के दिए जलाने।
मैं जा रहा किस्मत को बांधकर तेरी हसरतों में जिया ना माने ॥

तस्वीर है तेरी मगर कह जाती है बहोत कुछ ।
तेरी हर एक चिट्ठियों में महसूस कर चुका हूँ सबकुछ ॥
दुनिया को भुलाया अपनों को मनाया ।
ख्वाबो ही ख्वाबो में अपना तुझे बनाया ॥
फर्याद बस एक रेह्गया अब तो ।
तेरा दीदार हो इस इम्तेहान में सचमुछ ॥

मैं आ रहा तेरी पहचान जानकर ख्वाहिशों के दिए जलाने ।
मैं जा रहा किस्मत को बांधकर तेरी हसरतों में जिया ना माने ॥

होगी क्या तेरी वैसी ही चाहत ।
जो ये मेरे दिल में जगी है ॥
जाने यह कैसी हो रही है आहट ।
दुनिया कहे जब तुझे भूलना सही है ॥
आ रहा हूँ घूम घूम हर मंजर तुझको ढूँढ ।
दौड़ रहा है रगो में ख़ून बन्न्कर बस तेरा ही यह जूनून ॥
मुझको है यकीन इसतरह तुझपर रे ।
राह देखती होगी खडी तू भी छतपर से ॥
